Baby Delano 2

Today was the big day that all mothers anxiously await...the first official meet and greet with your new baby! We went in today at 10:00 for the ultrasound and got to hear a very strong heartbeat (161)! That is the sweetest sound we have heard since we found out I was preggo! I saw Danielle Elliott afterwards and everything looks great and we are on track to welcome this baby around April 3rd.

This pregancy has been very similar to my first pregancy with Lane, but I've had a little more nausea. I have not gotten sick, just nauseous. I know I have a little tummy and was really afraid that I had just gained a bunch of weight, but at the Dr. visit today, it showed I had lost 4 lbs. I was kind of glad to hear that because it confirms that yes, I have a baby belly and not just a fat belly! HA! I confirmed with Danielle that I have been eating 3 meals a day with snacks and drinks in between, but have just been eating and drinking healthier than pre-pregnancy.

Now, according to Lane, he knows that I have a baby in my belly. He talks about it some, but about two weeks ago he told me "Mommy, you have a baby in your belly." And I said "yes, your right, I do". And he said, "No, mommy, you don't have a baby in your belly, you have a dinosaur in your belly...A T-Rex dinosaur!" Oh, my, how he will be disappointed!

I am sure that Lane and I will have many more interesting conversations before baby Delano #2 gets here in April!

RTR!

Jesslyn called us last week and asked if were interested in some FREE skybox tickets for the San Jose State game...and needless to say we graciously accepted! Her father in law was able treat the Delano's to a wonderful experience in the Morgan/Keegan skybox and what an awesome experience it was! And for a pregnant lady who is hungry all the time, I was definately pleased with the spread of food that was available to us! HA!

Here are a few pictures from our trip! Roll Tide!

This guy was cracking me up...he was completely covered in pompoms!

We had a great time hanging out in the skybox! Next Saturday, Austin and I will head back to T-town for the Penn-State game to treat ourselves for our birthdays! We love some Alabama football!
